Ardentinny Hotel

A website for the small hotel in the west of scotland
The Ardentinny Hotel commissioned a website. A new style and client base was needed for the newly renovated hotel.

The website aimed to be maintenance-free. This was required because the hotel did not, at that time have a reliable interent connection. The simple layout was created to appeal to the new market.

The focus of the website was the stunning images of the hotel and the surrounding area which created a framework for the site.

Celebrate Palestine

A website and teaching course for the organisation
The Celebrate Palestine 07-08 festival needed a website that was able to contain detailed information for any supporters of the cause and for anyone interested in helping or contributing to the festival.

The primary focus of the brief was to create an informative page which boasted Palestinian cultural aspects and a simple design to allow users all over the world to view the page on lower quality PCs. As the website was published in 2006 and the festival was continuously being deveoped it was vital that the organisers could, with very limited knowledge of Dreamweaver MX (a one day workshop), edit the calanders and various sources of information that needed updated regularly.

Its simple style was developed to enable easy shopping for existing and new customers. The layout is a complex version of a leaflet that was often used to sell the games to churches and like-minded Christians.

The focus of the website was the products on sale as well as the Christian element of the games.

Degree Show

Innovative product design degree show 2006
The Innovative Product Design Degree Show 2006 took place in a remote wing of the Design School. It required signs to guide visitors to the exhibition and posters advertising when and where the show was taking place.

The posters displayed the courses philosophy. The course combines classic Product Design and Mechanical Engineering as well as embracing new design areas such as Interaction and Service Design.

The website was developed to be a simple interface. It is a combination of an introduction to the course and an interactive poster advertising the degree show.
