My name is Robert Djaelani

Who am i?

 

My name is Robert James Djaelani, my life began in Glasgow on the 17th September 1985.

 

My life as a product designer started on my 18th birthday when I started a course in Innovative Product Design in the University Of Dundee. For many years now I have lived, studied and worked in Dundee. Now I have returned to my roots and after staying in Indonesia, the birthplace of my father, i am working in Glasgow.

 

I have found that my best skills are in Design research and in particular conceptual design research.

 

Much of my work represents this bias towards research and interest in how people interact with products as well as what people think about and how people act within their society.

 

In this webspace you will find past works. Some of it will represent old theory which is out of date or standard practise, but the methods are still very applicable to modern problems.
